TERROR FLAGS ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT

Just last week Israel's Attorney General Yehudah Weinstein issued orders empowering police to arrest anyone waving a Hamas or ISIS flag in Israel. But as we have witnessed time and time again, the long arm of Israeli law does not extend into the beating heart and spiritual center of the nation, the Temple Mount. A political rally which took place on the Temple Mount on September 8th featured the waving of Hamas, ISIS and PLO flags. No flags were confiscated. No flag-wavers were arrested.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's stubborn policy of "maintaining the status quo" on the Temple Mount has, in fact, led to the serious deterioration of Jewish rights on the Mount. Freedom of worship,the right to pray, the right for human dignity, the protection against the destruction of precious antiquities, all have been abandoned under the current policy of "maintaining the status quo." At the same time, terrorist organizations such as Hamas and ISIS have made the Temple Mount into a stronghold, and do as they please with little or no police interference.

While eyes are turned toward Gaza, Iraq, Syria and the Sinai Peninsula, a terrorist-controlled entity is forming right here in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount.
